"MANNYSTYLEZ"   (rough album design)

The original concept is MUCH better, because it's very striking and focused. It feels gangsta (hip hop graphics, Manny lookin' all Travis Bickle LMAO)... it's something kids might buy on impulse

It's a winner. I would take the website off, and don't add your name... save those for the back cover, as small (but conspicuously placed) credits.

The multiple Manny one has too much going on... too many Mannys as Raf said (forget the multiple styles concept... he needs to establish a single identity first) plus too many words and half-words. The red "MANNYSTYLES" pops, but it's not a nice font like the copperplate one you use on the rest of it. The copperplate font suggests money, always a good thing. I do like the blue to green gradation on the bottom right, and that shiny spot. You might try incorporating something like that into the original composition, but be ready to kill that too if it doesn't work LoL

Great work Tae... I think your original just needed a little refining rather than an overhaul. Keep it simple, bold, elegant, striking

Can I also suggest that you stick with the concept. If the album is "MANNYSTYLEZ" then it should be reflected on the cover.

The original concept is best.

Its obvious some people dont get the album otherwise they wouldnt say stick to the original concept.

The original concept, has nothing to do with MANNYSTYLEZ.

STYLEZ is the many styles that will be on the album. How do you figure the original concept reflects that?

Understandable. (I didnt like the mutli head either)...But the original concept doesnt reflect what the album is about (at all). So if Jose wants it to do just that...I dont see how the orig. is best.

Well the dark colors and font type suggests (to me) something street, very hip, almost R$Bish. Dare I say Urban! If it had some bling I would have said Ghetto.

The thing is, no one gets it (the multiple Manny's represent his different styles) unless Tae personally tells us. The only way to get it across visually would be to dress Manny up in the different styles. That would be whimsical, but I don't think it's the way to go.

There's some truth to what Jose was saying about debuts. Manny needs to forge in people's minds one marketable persona. He can play up his height the way rappers like Fat Joe and Big Pun played up their weight, or he can play it down. He can look gangsta, cute, suave, ethnic, whatever he wants to present. It should be clean and focused, not all over the place or wishy washy. I think the title STYLEZ is more than enough.

Actually it kind of looks like STYLEZ is his last name... Tae, if you go with the original, you might wanna change the font or shrink STYLEZ.

Jose, Zoe has a similar problem... nice composition, color, lighting, but she doesn't look half as hot as usual, and worst of all it looks like her name is 20 E
