Rob is right you can probably Midi assign it manually, thought I think that the Hercules RMX is better suited for Virtual DJ or Tracktor. Most of the setups I've seen with the Hercules RMX has been with either software. I can't remember seeing it used with Serato, but that's not to say it's impossible, just keep in mind that you may not be able to get all the features on your Herc to work. First feature that comes to mind is "sync", there is no sync in Serato.

Sync - who uses that ??!

( although Itch has sync )

Ive seen the totorials on Tractor & Serrato / Tractor being better and hyper flexible with peramiters that are BANNANAS

All the Top Midi/Digital Users ( even the unsponcered ones use Tractor)

but Serrato is the King with the live / battle /tcV guys and mobile guys I know

BUT Serratos Midi asighn looks SUPER easy vs Tractor

Tractor being multiple menus & multiple drop downs

Serrato appears to be : Click on function =>use knob or push button => click auto assighn

plus I have tractor LE and I dont "Love it" it would seem that serrato & VDJ just flows better

okay I was in funk-o-mart on my lunch break messin with the V7 & Itch

THAT THING IS SICK !!!!!!

but the sales man gave me two Freestyle mega mixes as tracs to mix

and your togleing between one deck & I didnt know the controls that well

then I realized they were pumpin it in the steet !!!

And some dude came up to me and was like "Yeah You were taking me way Back" ( it was mostly TKA & Safaire & Cynthia )

then I started started halfn & quartern Loops /w lil echo & reverb / sounded okay

then I started trying to play with the Hot Cues ( It has 5 ) but I didnt know how to asighn them so it kept cuting out and then I was just testin slash hitn mad buttons ...reverse / push etc and then I sctatched (or tried to scratch ) so then the DUDE cut my power hhahahahahhehehehehehh

still was funn !!! that V7 is DDDDDDDDDDDDOOOPE

ahhh nope

I really think tractor is the most versitile ie control 4 decks / syncs with My RMX / can be used with any controler

but I dont have as much fun when I mix with tractor ??? its so steryle ...I duno its hard to splane it. feels more like a program then a DJ tool??

VDJ is the most fun for me ( but thats probably becuase I use it the most )

and now they bumped the price of the RMX but it comes with VDJ 5

however serato is KING & fun SOO I guess I just have to find out if I can midi map my RMX with serato

plus the rmx is my second sound card - so I dont want to have to buy extra hardware to get hot cues and multiple samples with independant volume

which i could get if I upgraded to VDJ5 :xconfused:

I really want to get small midi controller with 8 pads / 16 keys / 4 faders

:D just put "controlerism" or "Ian Gold" or "Moldover "or "Hercules RMX with four decks " in the search bar of YouTube and you'll see where my head is at !!!!!!
