What Video Games Would You Like Seen Remade Or A Sequal On A Next Gen System? It Can Be Anything Early Ps2/xbox And Anything B4. Two Games I Would Love To See Are Powerslave And Rock The Rink.

Powerslave Was A Game On The Sega Saturn And Original Playstation. It Was A First Person Shooter With A Twist. It Took Place In Ancient Egypt (or Something Like That) You Found Different Artifacts That Gave You Special Abilities To Access Areas You Previously Couldn't ( Hold Your Breath Longer Underwater, Hover For A Certain Amount Of Time, Jump Higher). The Weapons Were All Different Too, Basically Special Powers And Staffs Where Your Weapon. There Were Plenty Of Secrets And A Great Level Design. Hell I Might Even Order The Sega Version Just To Play It Again, I Had The Ps Version But There Are A Few Differences. It Also Came On The Pc But Was Whole Dif Game, For The Most Part.

Rock The Rink Was A 3 On 3 Hockey Game Arcade Style. It Was Fast Paced Action With Lots Of Scoring And Lots Of Hits And Fighting. I Still Play This With My Cousin Whenever We Meet Up. The Graphics Are So Dated Now But Its Still Fun. All Other Hockey Games That Tried To Mimic It Never Really Captured The Magic Of This Game. Maybe Someday They'll Get Bored And Make Another One ( I Doubt It Though).

Marvel V.S. Capcom V.S. MK!!! All fighters featured should be the old school fighters, but with newer looks, styles and killer combos. Plus every fighter should have his/her own finishing moves. Oh.. and blood..lot's of blood.:)

Carlos

I want X-Mutant and Streets of Rage 2 remade and maybe Road Rash. I don't want no fancy 3D crap either. I want side scrolling goodness!!! Just good old remastered graphics!

I don't play any console games. If i'm going to play anything is will be on the PC cause PC is ALWAYS going to be better than any console game in playability and graphics.

HERE IS POWERSLAVE, I FORGOT HOW COOL THE MUSIC WAS TOO.

AND HERE'S ROCK THE RINK MADE BY EA. IT WAS COOL, YOU COULD CHECK THE GOALIE AND ALL. AND HAD A BONUS SYSTEM THAT A BAR BUILD UP FROM TAKING SHOTS AND HITS AND WHEN IT FILLED UP YOUR SHOTS WERE HARD TO STOP AND YOU COULD CHECK PEOPLE REAL HARD. THIS GAME ALSO HAD A SHOT CLOCK SO IF YOU DIDNT SHOOT WITHIN 12 SECONDS, YOUR GUY JUST FELL AND THE PUT SAT THERE FOR ANYONE TO TAKE. THE PLAY BY PLAY WAS PRETTY FUNNY TOO. MAYBE NOT IN THIS CLIP BUT IT WAS.

Another Game I Want Seen Remade Into Todays Graphics Was The Original Doom Games. I Got Doom3 And It Was Good, But There's Something About The Original Games.

Good question you pose Homer....off the bat (no pun intended), I would have to say MicroLeague baseball which was available for the Commodore 64 (and other computers of that generation I would imagine). It was a good blend of accurate player performance and game play, and the statistic compilation companion diskette was a welcome addition for all stat hounds such as myself lol :) Ask this question again in, say, 10 years and my answer may well be Mortal Kombat. Many a college class went unattended when the school added that game to the lounge :)

I would love for them to remake Nintendo's Pro Wrestling.
King Korn Carn, Star Man and Hayabusa!

I want to see a remake of "Platoon" that came out on the Nintendo. I always got my butt killed in the tunnel looking for the VC.

HEY DOUG, LOOK AT ABOUT 6 MINUTES INTO THIS VIDEO. DAMN THIS GAME LOOKS FRUSTRATING LOL.

WOW I REMEMBER THAT. I SPENT SOO MUCH TIME PLAYING THAT GAME.

BUT MY FAVORITE WRESTLING GAME WHICH WAS ONLY AT THE ARCADE AT THE TIME WAS MAT MANIA. I SPENT SOOOO MUCH MONEY ON THAT GAME.

I got my idea of which game should be remade with today's graphic power of computer systems:

The best arcade Wrestling game ever made in my honest opinion was Konami's The Main Event. This game was rumored to be an official release for the WWF as a tag-team game (you could play solo with a CPU controlled tag team partner, unless you tag him, which leads you to control that drone), but for some reason that deal never materialized. I still hold the actual high score of that game on any location in Puerto Rico (a whopping score of 903,700 points after playing for almost five hours on a Saturday afternoon with just one quarter), which lead to a prohibition of me playing that game on arcades in most of the island. I still don't know what the world record actually is foir that game, but sure I was the Puerto Rican champ! yeah baby!! LOL

Here's the lineup of wrestlers:

1. "Kamikaze Ken" (looking like Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat)
2. "Alan The Emperor (looking like Andre The Giant)
3. "Bigfoot Joe" (looking like King Kong Bundy)
4. "Conan the Great" (looking like Hulk Hogan)
5. "Maui Brawler" (looking as the younger Haku as The Tonga Kid aka Meng aka King Tonga)
6. "The San Antonio Smasher" (looking like Koko B. Ware)
7. "Saturn Six" (he could be a combination of LOD and one of they guys from Demolition)
8. "El condor" ("a masked Wrestler from Mexico" that somehow reminds me of a combination of El Santo and Invader #1)

It had multiple moves which were performed based on your location in the ring and control movement combined with the use of the HUGE Action button and/or tag button

It was also rumored that the WWF had a court order forcing Konami to remove most of the machines from the market (due to copyright infringement from the use of the name to the graphics of the wrestlers themselves), but there are a few left around worldwide. If this game would had been the final release of "Saturday Night's Main Event" it would have had at least 8 more wrestlers, compared to the official licensed games by Technos Japan/Taito corporation.

I tell you Homie that damn VC got me almost everytime I played this game. Thanx for posting the video, it brings memories. I remember I had that NEC arm control deal with the buttons on it.

I mean NES arm control. I haven't seen one of those in years.
